It is a remote tourism platform that allows the user to move to a place on the planet other than the one in which it is located and to interact with the surrounding environment thanks to an innovative interface, giving life to a new real-time experience that has nothing in common with the virtual tours we already know.

WHAT SHOULD I DO TO LIVE MY TRAVEL EXPERIENCE?

Go to https://www.icarus.travel from your computer or smartphone and register on the platform. Then you can choose from dozens of experiences from all over the world and book the one you prefer.

CAN I PILOT A DRONE WITH MY SMARTPHONE/PC?

If you have booked an experience with DRONE yes. You can remotely drive the vehicle within an area established by the guide that offers the event.

AND HOW DOES IT WORK WITH GUIDE WITH GIMBAL?

You can direct the steps of a guide with gimbal to the point of interest identified on the map. At that point you can move the camera and zoom in to watch the work, the monument or the panorama in front of you to not miss any details. We also implemented the bi-directional microphone to speak directly with the on-site guide.

HOW MUCH DOES AN EXPERIENCE COST?

Experiences have a price set by the guide and vary according to different factors (appeal of the place, fixed costs of the guide, reputation of the guide).
